Put simply, the CLB is the term used by the Canadian government in correlating your IELTS results.
If you are working with our Regulated Canadian Immigration Practitioner, Martine Lefèvre, RCIC, she would inform you of the minimum language score that you need in order to qualify for one (or several!) immigration programs.
It is important to note that you need to obtain the relevant score in ALL OF THE ELEMENTS OF THE EXAM in order to qualify.
For example, if you need to get a CLB 9 and get a Band 7.5 in Speaking, and Reading, a Band 8 in Listening and a Band 6.5 in Writing, you did not achieve a CLB 9.
Generally, the higher your IELTS score, the more immigration options you have, so be sure to begin our lessons ASAP!
