In order to immigrate to Canada, you will likely need to pass an IELTS exam.

Important immigration advice: We work with a lot of clients who are from English-speaking countries, which means that these people have a very strong English foundation. Often, however, when these people take the IELTS exam, they score lower than they should. A CLB 9 is always what you should be aiming for, especially if you are over 35 years old.

As you may know, Canada is an officially bilingual country with both English and French being used all across our great country.
In terms of immigration, having a high French level opens a lot of new immigration options and certainly helps with job prospects once you become Canadian.
If you speak French at an intermediate level you will receive the $500 PrepaFrançais package at a steep discount to make sure you are maximizing your immigration options.
*Note: This is only applicable for people who already have an intermediate French level. If you have a low level of French, it is always better to invest 60 hours to raise your English level from a CLB 8 to a CLB 9 instead of moving your French level from a CLB 3 to a CLB 4.
